2020年4月7日的一場高溫燙傷意外，促使芙薾的誕生。芙薾創辦人的實驗室夥伴Nick，在拆卸廢棄儀器時，不慎誤觸高溫近千度的槍管，經醫師判定為二級燙傷。在劇痛之餘，Nick想起實驗室創辦人使用生物超導生醫技術開發的「萬能噴霧」，每一位實驗室成員都獲配給乙支，隨身使用。Nick抱著死馬當活馬醫的心情，將之噴在燙傷處，沒想到竟能舒緩不適，並且在三天又六小時後完全康復。

經此事件之後，我們都認為這對燒燙傷者絕對會有很大的幫助。如果在燙傷發生的當下，第一時間使用可以較一般更疾速地降低患部溫度，並防止產生水泡而能快速地協助療癒。由於沒有水泡的產生，就不會產生傷口，因此也就無後續因傷口的產生所衍生的感染風險、疼痛及龐大的醫藥費用等！

那年，我們幾位實驗室的同事，決定成立芙薾，主要致力於燒燙傷技術推廣，同時成立同名保養品品牌，專門服務有抗老需求及肌膚敏弱的顧客。目前我們與公益團體合作將此產品推廣至世界上醫療資源較為落後的地區。

On April 7, 2020, a high-temperature scalding accident occurred, which led to the birth of FOUR. Nick, a laboratory partner of the founder of FOUR, accidentally touched a gun barrel with a temperature of nearly a thousand degrees while dismantling discarded equipment, resulting in a second-degree burn as determined by a doctor. Amidst intense pain, Nick recalled "the Spray" developed by the laboratory's founder using bio-superconducting technology, which was distributed to each laboratory member for personal use. With a "desperate measure" mindset, Nick sprayed it on the scalded area, unexpectedly experiencing relief and achieving complete recovery after three days and six hours.

After this incident, we all believed that it would be of significant help to burn and scald victims. If used immediately at the moment of scalding, it can rapidly reduce the temperature of the affected area more effectively than conventional methods and prevent blister formation, thus facilitating rapid healing. Without blister formation, there would be no wounds, eliminating the risks of infection, pain, and extensive medical expenses associated with wound formation.

That year, several colleagues from the laboratory decided to establish FOUR, primarily dedicated to promoting burn and scald treatment technology. They also established a skincare brand with the same name, specializing in serving customers with anti-aging needs and sensitive skin. Currently, we are collaborating with charitable organizations to promote this product in areas with limited access to medical resources.
